At Naturals Connect, our name is more than just a title—it embodies the essence of what we stand for. Our platform is rooted in authenticity, purpose, and the natural flow of meaningful connections. The name Naturals Connect carries three powerful meanings:
"Naturals" Connecting with Others
In the natural hair community, Black women who embrace their unprocessed, textured hair often refer to themselves as "naturals." Just as women proudly identify with this movement, Naturals Connect is a space where they can connect with like-minded individuals who appreciate and celebrate their authenticity.
A Place for Natural Human Connection
Beyond hair, we believe in natural, human-to-human connections. In a world where dating often feels artificial or transactional, Naturals Connect is a space for two people—two naturals—to meet, engage, and build relationships in a way that feels real and effortless.

Naturals Connect Mission Statement
At Naturals Connect, we believe that Black beauty is powerful, natural hair is beautiful, and Black love is intentional. Our platform was created to celebrate the authenticity, confidence, and cultural richness of Black women who embrace their natural hair—and the men who admire them.
We are not alone. There are others who share our inspiration, trailblazers like Matthew Cherry, whose Oscar-winning short film Hair Love showed the deep bond between Black fathers and daughters through hair, and Zoe Oli, the young CEO behind Beautiful Curly Me, who is shaping the self-image of young Black girls, we stand on the foundation of representation, empowerment, and love.
Like the Naturally Perfect Dolls that shattered traditional beauty norms on Shark Tank, and the "Love The Hair You Wear" movement that champions natural hair acceptance, Naturals Connect is more than a dating app—it’s a community, a statement, and a movement.
We are here to empower Black women to embrace their natural beauty unapologetically, provide a safe space for Black love to flourish, and inspire the next generation of young Black girls to see their natural hair as beautiful, valuable, and worthy of admiration.
